Between Knowing and Doing, There's Friction

For those tired of spending three hours finding the perfect time for the thing takes twenty minutes.

Hey! Fellow Business Owner...

Before I begin: There’s something I need you to know:

You’re not an overthinker.

You’re not a perfectionist.

You’re not even a procrastinator.

You’re experiencing friction between what you know and what you do.

And it’s not your darn fault….

You’re carrying a lot of friction and it’s freaking exhausting!

Friction | ˈfrɪkʃn | noun [mass noun]

The resistance you encounter when trying to move from what you know to what you do
: a decision-making system which reduces friction.

The action of “your brain” rubbing against itself when you have the strategy but can’t take action: the friction of overthinking.

conflict caused by a clash between what you want to do and what you actually do: a considerable amount of friction between knowing and doing.

unfrictioning | ʌnˈfrɪkʃnɪŋ | verb [with object] removing the resistance between what you know and what you do so that action becomes inevitable instead of impossible.

The Weight You're Carrying...

As a business owner, you’re carrying everything. Every decision. Every task. Every “should.”

As a neurodivergent business owner? Double it. Triple it. Quadruple it.

Because navigating the business world is already hard. For us, it’s exponentially harder.

You’re constantly tracking all the pieces—what needs doing, what you’re avoiding, what you’ve forgotten, what you’re worried about forgetting.

The first session? That’s where you put it all down.

Not to fix it. Not to solve it. Just… put it down for a minute and breathe.

People tell me the relief is immediate. Being able to say it all out loud without having to organize it first, without needing to make it make sense, without having to have it together.

That relief? That’s where we start. Once that’s done… the friction is next.

... AND Once That Friction Is Gone...

You shift from “Should I…?” to “I’m doing this” and just… figure out the logistics.

You move from the “what if” space into the “how will” space.

Most coaching follows a strict formula – you feel like you’re moving down a little path. Amelia’s approach is organic. She sees where you are and adapts, pulling from her expertise to make each session unique but powerful. It’s an invitation, not a prescription

The Sessions

The Invitation

This is where you put all the pieces down.

Your questions. Your ideas. Your concerns. The things you’re excited about. The things you’ve been avoiding for three months. The things keeping you up at 2am.

You don’t need to organize it or “make it make sense”. You just need to say it.

I’ll listen to not just what you say, but the whole of what you’re trying to say—not just the words, but what’s underneath. That’s where the friction lives. That’s what we’ll start working with.

The Ignition

This is where we make it click.

We’ll make what felt impossible suddenly stupidly simple.

Not because you get another strategy.

Not because I do it for you.

Because we remove the friction that was making it feel complicated.

And then you get that moment:

“Oh. THAT’S all I need to do? Why didn’t I think of that?”

And then you just… do it. (yeah… sorry it’s that easy!) Because now it’s obvious.

Meet Your GUIDE...

Hi I’m Amelia

I don’t teach neurodivergent business owners to fix themselves.I help them stop fighting themselves so action stops being a grind and starts being inevitable.

Not through willpower or better templates. But by designing conditions where your next action becomes impossible to avoid.

Most strategies leave neurodivergent entrepreneurs exhausted.

I build systems where your next step is so clear you can’t help but move.

What People Say...

“I came in a hot, crying mess, ready to throw in the towel on three years of business building.

For most coaches, I’d have to have it more put together. But Amelia met me exactly where I was – raw instability and all – without any judgment.

She didn’t let me wallow. She said ‘come play with this tool’ and walked me through a structured approach that gave me clear actions I could use immediately and come back to whenever I felt stuck again.

It short-circuited the breakdown. Instead of spiraling deeper into the rabbit hole, I was able to look at it from a safe perspective and find calm that let me operate effectively.

Got Questions? I Got Answers!

How is this different from other coaching I've tried?

Most coaching gives you strategies to implement. I’m focused on removing the friction between the strategy and the implementation. We’re not building elaborate systems – we’re identifying what’s actually blocking action and removing it in real-time.

I won’t stop you from thinking about things before hand, but you don’t need to have anything prepared.

All you need to do is show up with whatever’s feeling stuck right now. The whole point is working with what’s actually happening, not what you think should be happening.
